LE CAMP is a separate entity from Québec International, Québec’s metropolitan economic development agency and is the recipient of financial support from la Ville de Québec.

Québec International has been supporting techno-entrepreneurship since 2008. The number of initiatives they have launched has contributed to stimulation the capital’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Passionately involved in the world of start-ups and entrepreneurship and eager to help stimulate Québec City’s economy, Sébastien Tanguay has been working alongside entrepreneurs since 2011, providing them with the tools needed to ensure the success of their business projects. How? By offering personalised mentorship and training services to help them validate their concepts. His credentials include a facilitator’s certification from the Kauffman Foundation and he has taken part in the Croissance Québec Techno program with facilitators from the Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship. In addition to being a mentor, he also sits on advisory committees, such as the 2016 SXSW Accelerator® Advisory Board. Sébastien’s knowledge of technological entrepreneurship, a field in which he has been immersed since 2000, is impressive; he has cofounded MyFoodPhone, Inc. and cowritten a book called Mobile Persuasion.

Passionate about new technologies and particularly fascinated by the role they play in the arts, within language, and their everyday applications, Mariona Ferrer coordinates the strategic plans and puts them in action at the Digital Arts and interactive entertainment level. Originally from Barcelona, Mariona has in-depth understanding of the challenges tech businesses face when both starting up and expanding. Armed with international experience, Mariona sets up initiatives that meet the needs of businesses and coordinates the efforts of the sector’s major agents. She has an impressive amount of experience in linguistic engineering and economic development, specifically relating to strategic and operational development of consulting/mentoring, financing and tech development programs for start-ups.

Anne has more than 10 years of experience in project management, partnership coordination and event organization for higher education institutions as well as public and private companies, including the one she owned for more than 5 years.

Anne has been actively involved for many years in the Québec City entrepreneurial scene, particularly as President of the Réseau des Femmes d'Affaires du Québec, representative of culture at the Table de concertation en entrepreneuriat de la Ville de Québec , or jury at the regional and national levels at the Défi Osentreprendre.

Passionate about entrepreneurship and interpersonal and intercultural relations, Anne is filled with the feeling of accompanying entrepreneurs in their various stages of development and building relationships between people. She has been a member of various international delegations while serving on the Advisory Committee for the Canadian Commission for UNESCO.

Louis-Jérôme holds a BACC in business administration (marketing profile) and has been working in this field for nearly 5 years. Before joining the Quebec International and LE CAMP teams in 2018, he held various positions in digital marketing and e-commerce with financial institutions and retail businesses. His areas of interest: social media, analytic, writing, event marketing, web and entrepreneurship.

Its mandate: to develop and implement strategies that contribute to the influence and reputation of CAMP and the technological ecosystem of the Quebec City region.

Diplômée en gestion des organisations et riche d’une expérience dans le milieu communautaire et politique, Léa est une habituée de la gestion et de la coordination d’organismes et d’événements.

En tant que chargée de projet du CAMP, elle assure un soutien organisationnel auprès des conseillères du CAMP et s’occupe principalement de la planification des activités d’animation de l’écosystème.

Toujours en mode solution, Léa, grâce à ses aptitudes relationnelles et logistiques, veille au bon fonctionnement du CAMP en soutenant l’équipe dans le déploiement de son offre de services et en facilitant le travail des partenaires et des startups incubées.
